Prishtina (represents a beautiful modern city, with
traces and characteristics of an ancient culture
– Illyrian, Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman etc.)
Day one start at 10.00 am by visiting “Ethnological
Museum”, “Emin Gjiku’s House”,
“The Imperial Mosque” (build in 1461
by the donor of Turkish Sultan Mehmed II. knows
as the Conqueror ), “The Imperial Bath”
(build in 1461 ) and under reconstruction, “Jashar
Pasha Mosque” ( build during centuries sixteen
to nineteen.
These monuments resembling each other, represent
a special urban and architectural complex in the
city of Prishtina ), “Tower Clock”
(Sahat kulla-Alb.)
It is situated at the center of Prishtina, built
on 1764, characterized by interesting architecture
of that time; inside it is the bell brought from
Rumania.,
“The Kosova Museum” ( engaged in
studying , collecting, systemizing, preserving,
publishing and presenting of Kosova’s cultural
heritage since pre-historic time – Neolithic
period , year 4.300 BC, like “Divinity in
Throne” and other)
“The Kosova Art Gallery”, “The
Albanian Catholic Church”. Prishtina sightseeing
such a “Parlament”, statue of “Mother
Tereza” – Albanian humanist( Nobel
prize winner ), “National Art gallery”,
statue of “Zahir Pajaziti” (UÇK
commander during Kosova War ) etc.
